10/22/03 Finnegan can pull; Brian's Apartment Part 5; Spanish Lobster w/Brian and Aaron:
Finnegan! In the lobby! With his dad! They play this game. The dad pulls and Finnegan pulls back. What a dog.
This went on for some time, with much merriment and hilarity.
I was heading out to Brian's apartment. It's still coming together:

We narrowly escaped having to install these before going to dinner, and we were both starving. We decided to go to a Spanish seafood place on 23rd street that Brian knows about. During lobster season, they have every weight of lobster, in half pound increments from 1.5 to 17 pounds! I've never seen a 4 pound lobster, so 17 is most likely the size of the entire table! (And very expensive).
Right now it's not lobster season, and so they have a smaller, yet very respectable selection.
Their proscuitto with melon was sub-par.
The lobster was incredibly tender, but had a weird flavor. It tasted like it was steamed in something odd that got in the way of the fresh lobster taste. But the amazingly tender lobster meat was almost worth it.
As you may be able to see from this photo, the sangria was good too. :) I love lobster bibs. I am unabashed.
