11/15/03 Friday's Times Square with Brian and Adam Goins:

On my way to meeting Brian and Adam Goins at Friday's in Times Square (something I like to get out of my system every few months (Friday's, not Adam)) I saw this bizarre business model before my eyes. Bright, attractive, and appealing to the olfactory, this place sells popcorn to the tourist. New York City may be notable for it's Pizza. We invented the Hot Dog on the Bun and the Ice Cream Sandwich. We even came up with Chop Suey. But... I don't think Popcorn has anything particularly New York about it, leaving me to conclude that this place is a scandal. Oh, but the smell....
