12/05/03 Italian Comfort Sausage on a Snowy "Inside Day":

Richard's new wooden cutting board on the right. Sausage (sweet and spicy) on the left, some decased, some whole.

The first blizzard-like conditions of the year is in progress. Richard went shopping during the day to "be out in it." For fun. He brought home enough food for the weekend. And then he proceeded to fog us in via the kitchen.

The steaming bowl of warm comfort goodness. Cavatelli (that shape of pasta) and broccoli with crumbled sausage. Simple, filling, old school. Italian soul food, according to rich.
