6/21/04 Rich and I meet at Hicksville, Westbound; Giving Computer to George's friend:

This afternoon, I was done with an Owen Job, around the same time Rich finished a shooting day on a film based in Hicksville. We ended up on the same electric train headed to Penn Station at Hicksville. We didn't run into each other totally by accident, though. We planned to run into each other when we realized that our schedules were synchronized.

Rich gets out his headphones for his phone's MP3 player function.

Later, two of George's friends come over. Rich and I found a computer in the hallway of our floor. It was being thrown out. We grabbed it, checked that it still worked, wiped the hard drive, and when George asked if his friends could take it off our hands, we were more than happy to oblige. It wasn't fast enough to replace any of my existing computers. But it's perfectly fine for basic word processing, e-mail, and the like.

There it goes! And it seemed well taken care of. All of its original stickers were still on the front. And going by the model, it's about 3 to 5 years old now!
