6/30/04 Rich and I go to Robert Marc again; Picnic in Central Park w/Erin, Aaron, Rich, George, Nat:

This afternoon, Rich wants to go back up to Midtown to look at more sunglasses, and perhaps purchase a pair.

On the way to the train, we pass major police activity at the World Trade Center Site.

We walk through, never actually figuring out what it was, exactly. But every police vehicle in Manhattan seemed to be there.

In Midtown, we passed a Joe's Shanghai branch we've never been to.

At Robert Marc, Rich tried on more pairs:

Mmmm...no.

Not bad.

Eeeee.

Good.

Good, but bad photograph.

Excellent. I need RECTANGULAR frames. Every time I put them on, I like them. They will happen at some point.

This lady was much better than the one we dealt with last week.

Oh yeah.

STILL looks fabulous.

Anyway, Rich ended up buying TWO pairs of glasses, and justifying it to himself... somehow.

He shows them to Richard at the front desk.

Then Rich and I head to Whole Foods, where we are to meet most of the gang (except Mike, who works until 8pm on weekdays. Ech.)

They are having tasters of honey, crackers, cheese, and berries. It all tastes amazing. [I went back and purchased that expensive honey they were using, and it never tasted that good again!]

We noticed the "Blue Screen of Death" on the motion advertising display above the subway entrance. Ha!

Awww.

George showed up a little later to hang out as well.
