8/5/04 Tax Payment Day for Andrew and Merelis Productions, Inc.:

So after getting an automatic extension to pay my taxes, I finally had to face Uncle Sam and bite the bullet. So I spent all day crunching all of my numbers, and by the time Natalie came over to cheer me on, I was sitting on the floor, surrounded by a pile of Turbo Tax printouts with a checkbook.

One of the reasons there are so many envelopes, is that I decided to pay all of my upcoming estimated tax payments immediately. So I'm paying last year's and next year's taxes all at once.

Then Natalie and I went out to celebrate the end of this burden on my mind.

We both are suckers for stuffed mushrooms, especially with cheese on top.

Then I got a FedEx shipment clearly labeled "Fragile" in 3-year-old handwriting... busted up.

It's a beta-max deck I got on e-bay that will let me make betamax to DVD transfers... assuming that it works.

Finally, Natalie and I busted out the Bermuda Rum Cake that she got from her Bermuda vacation many weeks ago. Mmm.
