8/22/04 Natalie and I try to get to Circle Line; Mom and Peter come Aboard; Scott "the Dot" Simpson:

This morning, while waiting for an N train to Times Square, we saw one of those gigantic flies, enjoying the sun on the station wall. It was far less scary out here than in Natalie's apartment.

Then we waited for a crosstown bus that would never come:

We walked.

Peter and Mommy came aboard one of my tours today!

This is a little girl asking me a question, and me mid-swallow with my orange juice.

Some Romanian tourists who wanted their photo with me. I think they were Romanian. I really don't remember. They don't... look... Romanian.

After work, Scott Simpson picked me up in his car, and we went to Chinatown together. Joe's Shanghai, to be exact. We had a great time catching up, which we don't often get a chance to do nowadays.
