11/20/04 Erica and I Have East Village Sushi; Changing Photo Size:
One of the problems with writing these web pages over 8 months after the photos were taken, is that I sometimes don't remember the names of things. The proper nouns are what escape my memory first, as I am much better at remembering spatial relationships than isolated bits of information, like names.
What I do remember is that this evening, Erica and I were taping a play in one of Manhattan's villages, and we are both fond enough of sushi to enjoy even a not-so-good half-priced or all-you-can-eat extravaganza in between setting up the equipment and shooting the actual show.
I didn't get a shot of Erica here. She has just started working for me, but will become my number one videographer in my company in the near future. She is trained in photography, and has been the head-of-shop in Photography at Buck's Rock for a few summers. Ironically, paradoxically, or maybe just quixotically, she doesn't like her photo taken, and I'm not yet friendly enough with her to completely disregard her wishes on the matter.
Another change from now into the future: I have turned my camera's setting up on notch, so that from now on, 99% of the photographs on this site, for better or worse, will be higher quality, and larger on computer screens. It has the effect, in some cases, of making things look better than they taste.
Erica does love pirates. Her armband proves it.
