12/10/04 Inside Grace Church
Balcony/Organ; Hoo-Moos:
Today I had a video gig in Grace Church, and I was allowed to shoot
from the balcony at the back of the church. To get to the balcony, I
had to climb a very narrow very old staircase, directly below the
steeple.
Later, at the apartment, I found more water damage on our future window
sill.
I picked up Natalie after she got out of work, and we went to a
restaurant that was down the street from her office called Hoo-Moos.
It's the actual Israeli pronunciation off humus.
This was the mushroom and garlic humus. /we got pita bread to eat it
with. I thought it was tasty.
They serve a pickled leafy thing, and an extremely spicy green sauce of
some kind with the meal.
They had one beer-like beverage called Gold Malt. It's imported from
Israel. I thought it was great! Sweeter than one might expect.
