07/27/05: Just Another Day on the Boat:
I enjoy being a tour guide, and on nice days, I enjoy being a tour guide on a boat. Some shots from the day between tirades:
It's rare to see another boat due to the spaced-out scheduling of each
boat. But because of a 1-hour bridge malfunction in Spuyten-Duyvil, we
caugt up with the 3-hour tour in front of us. We waited for a while
too, before watching the bridge open, and the boat in front pass
through.
The Little Red Lighthouse under the George Washington Bridge is always a crowd-pleaser.
Later in the day, I saw a hole in the clouds above the new AOL Time
Warner Center at Columbus Circle, and I thought it was kind of
Seuss-looking.
