09/05/05: Natalie and I have a
picnic in Prospect Park, Bike over the Brooklyn & Manhattan
Bridges, and have a nice dinner at home:
This was a wonderful Andrew and Natalie day!!!
We started by grabbing some sandwiches at City Sub to bring to the park.

I put my card on the bulletin board.

We tried a new concoction: Ham and Cheddar, melted, with letture,
tomato, a little onion, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, mustard, mayo,
horseradish sauce, all on a toasted italian hero. Mmmmmm.

Dogs in the lake!

A mini-tour boat, complete with shade and a guide.

The boat house in Prospect Park is arresting.

It is always the site of wedding photos!

We found a lovely shaded spot, put out a blanket, enjoyed out sandwiches, and relaxed for a while.

Why are trees so great? They are. They really are. But why?

I'm concentrating really hard in the above photo on holding up the
camera with one arm while framing my arm out and trying to look totally
relaxed with the rest of my body. Harder than you think. I forgot about
my face.

Others had the same idea nearby.

Feeding the geese!

We biked all the way from the park, up Flatbush, over to the Brooklyn Bridge.

Once in Manhattan, we made the short journey up to the Manhattan Bridge
and used that bike path, next to the subway on the bridge, to get back
to Brooklyn:

At home, we celebrated out exercise with a large meal

I don't know why.
